Contact Form and Contact Requests
When you use the contact form, the email address and message you enter are processed in order to handle and answer your request. The time of the request and your IP address are also processed for security and spam-prevention purposes. Successful requests are recorded with the email address, IP address, and time in a contact log on the web server that is not intended to be publicly accessible. The message is also sent to the controller by email.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to entering into or performing a contract. In all other cases, processing is based on the legitimate interests in responding to your request and protecting the contact form from misuse in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contact requests and log entries are deleted once they are no longer required for responding to the request or preventing misuse, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Cookies and Local Browser Storage
The website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking. A PHP session cookie may be set when the contact form is submitted in order to technically limit repeated submissions. This cookie is used solely for security and spam prevention.
The website also stores selected settings directly in your browser using Local Storage or Session Storage. This data is not used for analytics or advertising and is not transmitted to the website operator.
